Dub FX is coming back to Zagreb this September. The Australian musician will play at Boogaloo on Friday, September 26th, this time together with saxophonist Woodnote. The two have just put out a new album, Open Secret Society, and Zagreb will be one of the first stops where the project comes to life on stage. Alongside the new material, you can also expect some of Dub FX’s well-known tracks that have been part of his shows for years.
Dub FX and Woodnote go way back – from street performances to festival stages – and Open Secret Society is their first full album together. The sound mixes Dub FX’s vocals with Woodnote’s brass lines, built on top of beats and bass that move between hip hop, reggae, jazz, afro, and drum & bass.

The record is a joint effort with artists from all over the world, including Tiki Taane, Alais Clay, Prezence, Cade, and Dub FX’s partner Sahida Apsara. On the production and instrumental side there’s Paolo Baldini, Mista Savona, Astro Perger, Stevie One Drop, and Clara Costa – each adding their own touch to the mix.
The night at Boogaloo will also open with Grant “Prezence” Ellman, a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Arizona. Tickets are available here!
After the second edition of Sea Sound Festival this summer, it’s time for a proper afterparty – a chance for the scene to gather again and enjoy great music. The Dub FX show in Zagreb feels like the perfect occasion for it.
Sea Sound has also confirmed its third edition for July 16th-19th, 2026 at Martinska in Šibenik, with the first round of “blind” tickets already available.
