The nominations have been announced, as well as the public voting for the 9th edition of the “Ambasador” award, which for years has recognized, promoted, and rewarded the most outstanding achievements in electronic music in Croatia and the region.
In its ninth edition of Ambasador includes 29 categories, and public voting is open until November 5th.
Audiences can cast their votes in 12 Croatian and 4 regional public award categories. Among the public choice categories is the most sought-after title “DJ of the Year,” for which this year’s nominees are DJ Jock, DJ Labud, Elena Mikac, Felver, Insolate, Matroda, Petar Dundov, and Val Vashar. You can vote for whoever you think deserves that title, as well as for club nights, clubs, radio shows, festivals, and collectives, here.
Traditionally, the “Ambasador” award is presented to authors, performers, clubs, festivals, record labels, radio shows, photographers, art productions, and vocal performances, and this year more than 160 figures from the scene have been nominated.
The 2025 Ambasador award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 19th, at the Boogaloo club in Zagreb. Along with the awards ceremony, the program will open with a fashion show by Helen Kelen, a graduate fashion and textile designer whose work lies at the intersection of sustainability, club culture, and avant-garde streetwear.
Organized by the Klubska kultura association, the project continues to be supported by the Klubska Scena portal.
