DJs Papa Gogo a.k.a. Stari Jarac and Boris play at Zadar’s Svarog Bar in the 5th of December. Papa Gogo is of the pioneers of the Croatian house scene, as well as one of the initiators of the cult Valkana Beach Festival. During the 90s, he played at the legendary Fort Bourguignon in Pula and at Žnjan in Split. The veteran from Pula is active under both pseudonyms because the shows he hosts are stylistically different. As Papa Gogo, he finds his zen by mixing deep house and minimal tech sounds, while Stari Jarac is primarily using groove and retro sound, such as afro, soul, funky, disco and similar tracks.
DJ Boris is one of the members of the crew from the legendary Fort Bourguignon in Pula. Encouraged by already recognized DJs at the time (Robert, Papa Gogo, Kovachi) he began to perform as a resident DJ, and guest at clubs in Croatia and Slovenia. After a 20-year break, in 2022 he rediscovers his love for electronic music and the Zadar audience, who “adopt” him.
