This Friday, May 22, Peti kupe welcomes Alex Kassian.

Alex came from Kyoto to Berlin and, on his way, picked up the drama of London theatre and contemporary dance. While most hide behind cold, robotic patterns, Alex digs through the archive of early trance and dream house, not to copy it, but to breathe new life into it. He handles melody like a scalpel – precisely hitting exactly where club functionality meets pure emotion.
His sets are closer to film editing than mere mixing; it is a sonic labyrinth where reinterpretations of Tangerine Dream and acid segments are just signposts. There are no safe zones, only the constant curiosity of a performer who knows that the best party is the one where the audience loses track of time, but finds a rhythm that keeps them awake days later.

Alex will be joined by Ilija Rudman and the DJ team of Adriatic Social Club.
