Piknik in the Park, lands on June 13, stretching from a sunlit, half-forgotten city park, Park Proljeca, straight into the night at Peti Kupe, just a short walk away. Located right next to the city center, yet hidden enough to act as its own little green oasis, the park will host a full-day program of electronic music, socializing, art, and outdoor events from 3 p.m.
.Ahead of the event, we had a brief chat with the team, Franka, Jakša and Filip about their expectations of the first Piknik in the Park and the future plans.
“We are expecting a truly special day for Zagreb and a format that has never been seen on the domestic scene before. From the very beginning, we wanted to combine music, community and top-notch production into a unique experience that naturally connects the daytime and nighttime program and heavyweight performers from all serious underground music labels. For those who are reading their names for the first time – no, this is not that promo story. Those who know them will know what we are talking about“, said the organisers, highlighting that the event is taking place in the very center of Zagreb, with the support of the city, partners and the community that follows our work.

The daytime program is led by Raresh and tINI, a duo that has held a special place on the global underground scene for years. They will be joined by Dyed Soundorom, a member of Apollonia and one of the most recognizable selectors of the French electronic scene, while local forces will be represented by IGZ and Muhar.

During the day, visitors can expect a food corner, a space for relaxation and socializing, and an exhibition part of the program where young local creatives will present their works.
“Visitors can expect an open-air program with performers that we want to see more and more often in Zagreb, a food corner, an artist corner; which will present young creatives and production at a level that the Piknik audience is already spoiled for. What can we say… we are coming with a UEFA delegation of performers who are not only available with money. We are proud of that“, said the organisers.
The night story continues in Peti Kupe, just a few minutes away. They ponit out that the combination of park and club gives the event a completely new dimension. From 11 P.M., the evening will be taken over by Quest, one of the most intriguing selectors on today’s electronic scene, known for sets that regularly avoid the expected dance floor trajectories.

He will be joined by Runy b2b Antonio Zuza, a duo that combines years of experience in building regional club scenes, events and communities with equally serious DJ skills. The very end of the evening will belong to Ranerr, a Slovenian producer and DJ with an Amsterdam address, known for releases for Berg Audio and Bondage Music.
The organisers have announced more outdoor events from September, after the peak of the summer season. “We have a period full of projects, travel and organization behind us, so we will use the summer to recharge our batteries and gather new energy. For now, we cannot reveal too many details, but we can say that we have exciting projects waiting for us, several bookings that we are particularly proud of, and a traditionally very strong December with two mega Piknik events“, they announced, stating they are planning the most ambitious clubbing season so far.

Tickets for the Piknik in the Park on Saturday are still available via Entrio.hr platform.
