Ivan Petrovic, known as Ivan P, is a member and co-founder of Staple, the collective promoting minimal and electronica sound in the region. He started DJing and mixing during the pandemic, and his love for electronic music started growing earlier.
At first, he was mostly focused on minimal and ro-minimal, that was, during the pandemic, trending in Croatia. When the lockdown occurred, Staple threw private parties and events in Zagreb and its surroundings. When the lockdown finished, Staple was established as a brand and organised events at various venues in Zagreb, Croatia at Aquarius, Gallery, Podmornica Katran, Masters and Boogaloo and Raft 25th at Belgrade, Serbia.
His musical taste developed over the years, and now electro is implemented in his DJ sets. Ivan showcased his new sound for our guestmix series on Soundcloud, fusing electronica with minimal and deep tech elements.

Ivan P: Josh Baker. His production is really interesting, he organises events, festivals and online music production classes. I would definitely have a couple of questions for him. 🙂
