After weeks of speculation about who will be the mega star who will take the DJ stand at the Pula Arena this summer, it has now been officially confirmed: on July 31st, one of the biggest and most influential DJs of today, Black Coffee, will be coming to the BSH Amphitheatre Pula. This event is being held in collaboration with the Croatian music brand BSH, and under the auspices of the Adria Summer Festival. Tickets are on sale at Entrio.hr
This is the artist who redefined the global house scene, winning the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album with the album Subconsciously, thus becoming the first African artist to do so. He has become synonymous with the sophisticated Afro-house sound that fills the world’s largest festivals and arenas. His performances are not just DJ sets, but musical journeys that combine emotions, rhythm and top-notch production.

Born in South Africa, Black Coffee has become a global phenomenon over the past fifteen years. He has won a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, is a regular headliner at festivals such as Coachella and Tomorrowland, and has been a long-time resident of Ibiza, where he has set the standards for contemporary house production for years. Collaborations with the world’s biggest music names and sold-out tours across Europe, America, and Asia have cemented his status as one of the most influential DJs of today.
Last summer, Black Coffee performed at the impressive ancient quarry Cave Romane, located near Pula, at an event that sold out days in advance; his set was declared one of the most memorable performances of the entire summer season on the global electronic scene. Footage of the event flooded social networks and achieved tens of millions of views – exceeding the figure of 90 million, putting Istria in the focus of the global club audience last summer.
The fact that the Pula Arena in Pula was built with stone from the Cave Romana adds special symbolism. This turns this year’s spectacle into a powerful and almost cinematic story, from the quarry from which the stone was extracted to the monumental amphitheater built with that stone.

This year, Pula is joining the elite circle of European destinations because Black Coffee is also performing in the Roman amphitheater in France that same summer, giving his Pula performance additional international weight. The Arena is thus becoming part of an exclusive tour that combines millennial architecture and contemporary global sound.
A resident of Ibiza, a headliner at the world’s largest festivals and a name that regularly fills arenas around the world, Black Coffee has held the status of a global superstar of the electronic scene for years. His return to Istria and his premiere performance at the Pula Arena represent one of the strongest electronic bookings in Croatia in recent years.
Adria Summer Festival, which is celebrating its 10th edition this year, has hosted big names in music in previous years such as Eros Ramazzotti, Grace Jones, Jason Derulo, David Morales, Dubioza Kolektiv and many others. In the 2026 edition, in addition to the BSH party spectacle, the festival will also bring a concert by Sting as part of the Sting 3.0 tour, while the name of the third artist will be announced soon.
In the heart of the summer season, under the starry sky and stone arches of the Arena, the audience can expect an evening of intense energy, hypnotic groove and production rarely seen in this region.
