Hercules has introduced its latest portable DJ controller, the DJControl Mix Ultra, an ultra-compact device designed for hobbyists and aspiring DJs. Compatible with smartphones and tablets on both iOS and Android, this controller offers a seamless way to mix music anywhere, whether at home, at a party, or on the go.
Connecting to the controller is effortless, either via Bluetooth or by manually plugging in your device. The DJControl Mix Ultra is equipped with tactile pitch and volume faders, FX buttons, and touch-sensitive jog wheels, allowing for professional-quality scratching and mixing.
With dimensions of just 31.5cm x 17.4cm, it’s one of Hercules’ most portable controllers to date. It also features a rechargeable battery with up to 10 hours of life, meaning you can mix wirelessly all night without needing to plug in – perfect for impromptu afterparties.
The controller is integrated with Algoriddim’s ‘djay Pro’ app, enabling users to mix tracks from streaming services like Apple Music, TIDAL, and Beatport. However, Spotify is not supported due to restrictions on third-party DJ apps.
A standout feature of the Mix Ultra is Neural Mix, which allows users to isolate beats, instruments, and vocals for more creative and dynamic mixing.
Additionally, the controller comes with a protective cover that doubles as a smartphone stand, keeping your device secure while you mix and safeguarding it from bumps and scratches during transport.
The DJControl Mix Ultra will be available starting February 24 and can be pre-ordered now for £149.99 – here.
