Dobar House Legends w/ Michael Gray
October 17 @ 11:00 pm - October 18 @ 5:00 am
On October 17th, Michael Gray lands at Peti Kupe – the man behind one of the most recognisable house records of the 2000s, “The Weekend”, a track that has never really left the dancefloor.
But Michael’s story goes way beyond one massive hit. As a solo artist and one half of Full Intention, he has been behind some of the most loved house and disco records and remixes of the past decades – from Sylvester’s “(You Make Me Feel) Mighty Real” and Raze’s “Break 4 Love”, to the Full Intention remix of Duke’s “So In Love With You”, one of the defining house anthems of its era that still gets played in clubs and festivals all over the world.
His productions and remixes have found a home on labels including Glitterbox, Defected, Toolroom, Z Records, Fool’s Paradise and Big Love, while his own Sultra Records has become another outlet for his soulful, disco and funky house sound.
Michael has also been a familiar face at Defected Croatia, appearing on the festival’s Glitterbox lineups over several years – and now he’s coming to Zagreb for his first Dobar House Legends night.
Joining him behind the decks are Dobar House residents and friends Boris Seili and Dvornykova, with Tom Bug representing the home team.
