Future Scope w. UMEK & MIHAI POPOVICIU

On Saturday, December 13, Zagreb’s Boogaloo hosts a new edition of Future Scope with performances by Slovenian DJ and producer Umek and Romanian artist Mihai Popoviciu.
Umek is one of the key names of the global techno scene and a pioneer of electronic music in Southeast Europe. Active since the early 1990s, he moved from organizing underground raves in Ljubljana to performing at major festivals and established clubs worldwide. He is known for his powerful techno sound, as well as for founding the labels Recycled Loops and 1605, where he continues to release his music and support emerging artists.
The main hall lineup also includes local residents DJ Jock and a back-to-back set from Lalita Kali and Shipe.
On the small floor, Mihai Popoviciu brings his signature minimal house and deep tech approach. Active since the early 2000s, he has released music on labels such as International Deejay Gigolo Records, Highgrade, Poker Flat, and Bedrock, and runs his own imprint, Cyclic. His sets are known for a balance of deep grooves and precise production.
Supporting acts on the small floor include Looka and a back-to-back set from Senno and Sin.
