The Dragon Theater from Zadar will perform the drama “Hinkemann”, a masterpiece of dark German Expressionism by Ernst Toller from 1923, on Saturday, November 23, at Tunel – Sibenik.
This “anti-war cry from the depths” explores human intimacy, the dynamics between men and women, the decline of the working class, and the struggles of an alienated man trying to navigate a society that exploits everything for entertainment—a theme as relevant today as it was a century ago.
The play is brought to Tunel by director and promoter Maja Šimić. Following the one-hour performance, the night continues with music by VSNA and PaleolitiK.
