VHS w/ Benedikt Frey

For the next international guest appearance, which also marks the end of the VHS season (Video House System is an audio-visual collective/platform based in Zagreb and Rijeka), Masters saved it for the legendary German DJ and producer Benedikt Frey. After his performance at DasHaus seven years ago, hearing him again in Zagreb was only a matter of time.
Benedikt Frey is a DJ/producer whose creative journeys defy simple definitions. As a composer, arranger, DJ, and live performer, he traverses various musical worlds, from experimental dub to techno, house, downtempo, ambient music, and beyond. Originally from Berlin, he is deeply rooted in the vibrant music scene of that city, but his sonic explorations far exceed geographical boundaries.
With over a decade of musical creativity, Frey regularly releases on renowned labels such as R.i.O., Serious Trouble, ESP Institute, Hivern Discs, Malka Tuti, Emotional Response, and more. Whether performing in clubs, at festivals, or in more intimate gatherings, his goal is always the same – to evoke collective emotions, the kind that are still talked about since 2017.
