The fifth Elector Award will be held on February 13th, 2026, at Peti Kupe in Zagreb. The event brings over 30 musical journalists and editors from local Croatian media who are closely invested in the electronic scene, its development, and new creative directions.
“The Elector Award has reached its first small anniversary – its fifth edition awaits us. This year, too, awards will be given to the most successful Croatian authors and performers of electronic music, and for the award ceremony itself we have prepared something different from previous editions and will hold it in a club atmosphere, close to electronic music. Therefore, the fifth Elector will be held appropriately at Peti Kupe, a popular Zagreb club, with entertainment after the official program,” said the director of the award, Arsen Pavešić.
“The fifth year in Peti Kupe [eng. the Fifth Compartment]. It sounds symbolic because it is realistic, since we are rounding off the five-year cycle of the award by returning to clubbing, which is the source and meaning of the entire electronic scene. By looking at the scanner with which we monitor the releases, we know that the year for electronic music was of very high quality. Now it is up to the journalists to vote and choose, and it is up to us to celebrate the best and have fun at the awards ceremony in February,” added Dražen Baljak, the head of the award.
The official list of nominees will be published in mid-January 2026, which will then open the final round of preparation for the awards ceremony. The Elector Music Journalist Award, which has grown into one of the key annual gatherings of the Croatian electronic community, is expecting the fifth ceremony to be bigger and better than the previous years.
The ELECTOR Award was initiated by the DJ section of the Croatian Music Union and the Croatian Composers’ Association, co-produced by Peti Kupe, and organized by Unison – the Croatian Music Association.
