Today’s guestmix comes from Mario Hajdinjak, known by his stage name HAJDI, a Zagreb-based artist who has been active on the DJ scene for the past two years. HAJDI’s dance-driven sets are a blend of house, tech house, and disco, always centered around melody and a solid groove.

HAJDI says the greatest pleasure in his work is digging for new and lesser-known tracks, the kind that make people come up and ask for the track ID.
So far, he has performed at clubs such as 585 Club in Bol and Depo Club in Zagreb, with his most recent appearance at Regular Bar. His DJ journey has also taken him to Yellow Garden, Ro&Do Bar, and Old School.

He says the most important thing for him is to stay true to his signature sound while giving the crowd the best possible experience, filled with dancing, energy, and a strong connection to the audience, adapting the vibe in real time.
In his daily life, Mario is currently studying Business Economics in Zagreb and works part-time at a gym. In his free time, he enjoys listening to and discovering new music, and of course, hanging out with friends, whether it’s a casual game of padel or a bit of football.
The guestmix, which you can listen to on our YouTube or SoundCloud, is groovy and danceable, and perfectly captures HAJDI’s sound:
INSITE: If you could have a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
HAJDI: Definitely Fisher – I think it would be a very fun and interesting drink, although I doubt we’d stop at just one.
Favorite Track?
That’s a really hard one since I’m constantly discovering new music, but if you asked my closest friends, they’d probably say the only right answer is “Piknik” by Riva Starr. I just feel a strong connection to that track, and if you saw my reaction hearing it in a club, you’d definitely agree.
