This April, AKC Medika will host a three-day Hybrid Festival, an event packed with workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions, and diverse artistic performances. The festival kicks off on Wednesday, April 9, and concludes on Friday, April 11. Entrance to the first two days of the festival is completely free, while the final day’s music program requires a €10 ticket.
Hybrid Festival will showcase a diverse lineup of artists and creatives from both the local and international underground scene. The program is designed to be engaging, educational, and inspiring, featuring workshops and panel discussions where attendees can gain firsthand insights into festival and party organization. The festival will also highlight the visual artistry that defines the underground electronic music scene, showcasing works from artists who contribute to the aesthetic and stage design of various events and collectives.
Festival Program:
Wednesday, April 9 – DAY ONE
The festival begins with three workshops at Infoshop Pippilotta, Medika’s library space. The Stage Design workshop will be led by Pao, a member of the Hybrid Festival team. Zmayo, founder of Pistolero Records, will host a session on how to run a music label, providing insights into managing a music label. Meanwhile, Tripsitters will run a harm reduction workshop, focusing on safety and well-being in party environments.
Thursday, April 10 – DAY TWO
A day filled with interactive performances, discussions, and exhibitions:

- Fire Show Performance
- Panel Discussion: Behind the Scenes of Festival & Party Organization
- Art Exhibition Curated by Maja Shinigami 📍 Galerija Siva
- The exhibition will feature the works of seven artists who contribute to the visual identity of the underground electronic music scene, including Silvija Topić and Enora Paola, known for their work with Underground d.o.o., as well as Denija Miškeljin, who has been involved in scenography for the visually captivating MoDem Festival.
