This Saturday, November 23rd, Piknik debuts its showcase, stepping out of the comfort zone with a fusion of two well-known brands, HTTPS & Smooth, for a vibrant night in the heart of Zagreb – at Regular Bar starting at 8 P.M. To kick off their event season, Jakša Radić and Filip Pečenec, founders of the mentioned brands, decided to throw a free admission event on two floors, featuring six local DJs and producers: Igz, Žagur, Kali, Francescu, Viktor and Muhar.
After years of dedication to crafting memorable music events Jakša Radić and Filip Pečenec are thrilled to introduce their new venture. With over five years of experience in event organization, Jakša and Filip have brought both mutual and solo projects to life, showcasing local and international talents with unwavering enthusiasm. Describing the brand as a “fiesta of global and local sound,” Piknik embodies the spirit of openness, shared experiences, and a commitment to high-quality, unforgettable events.
“For this event, we’ve captured that same essence and transformed it into a celebration of music, dance, and togetherness—a “music picnic” for the soul, where you leave your worries behind and fully embrace the moment with great music, great people, and great vibes”, Jakša Radić said.
Piknik’s launch event is further complemented by a collaboration with their main sponsor, Arete Puro, who will be offering a special gin-tasting experience featuring their locally crafted Croatian gin, adding an exclusive touch to the evening.
Besides the official launch, the founders pointed out that this event is just the warm-up for their upcoming party. “All roads lead to Piknik’s headline event on December 28th at Peti Kupe”, they said, announcing the acclaimed French DJ Traumer’s exclusive all-night-long set. Known for his deep, immersive performances, Traumer will bring a unique experience to Zagreb’s music lovers—one that’s rarely seen in Croatia. This showcase at Peti Kupe will cap off Piknik’s journey for 2024 promising to be a night to remember.
