Jazzanova, the collective known for never sticking to predefined formats, will hold a live concert on April 10, with Wayne Snow, a Nigerian artist based in Berlin, joining them on vocals.

They never conform to one particular scene or sound, nor do they follow a specific technique or format. They have functioned as a DJ collective, production house, prolific remix team, radio programmers and presenters, label owners, and curators. They are Jazzanova. This legendary collective arrives in live format this Thursday, April 10, at Zagreb’s Peti Kupe.
Since forming as the group of DJs in 1995, there has never been a template for what Jazzanova would become. At every stage, they created new rules, evolving into an ever-changing entity rather than a traditional band. Since their debut album in 2002, they’ve offered a brilliant blend of radical experimentation and classic sounds – all topped off with their remixing, curating, DJing, and live performances.

Constantly in the studio remixing and producing, they have built connections with other musicians, touching upon neo-soul, broken beat, nu jazz, deep house, and many other wonderful sounds, without succumbing to any one genre. They’ve collaborated with well-known names like Dixon, Âme, Henrik Schwarz, Ian Pooley, Carl Craig, Incognito, 4Hero, and Masters at Work.
In their concerts, they are promoting the album “In Between Revisited”, a live homage to their debut album “In Between” from 2002. That album was a pivotal moment not just for Jazzanova, but for the emerging sound that blended jazz, soul, electronica, and broken beat.

Helping to bring that sound to life at Peti Kupe will be Wayne Snow, a Nigerian artist living in Berlin. Known for his undeniable warmth, Snow brings a contemporary take on sunny vibes from his homeland through neo-soul, alternative pop, soultronica, and jazz.
The evening will close with a set by Daniel Best, a member of Jazzanova and a DJ with more than two decades of experience behind the decks, blending jazz, soul, reggae, rare groove, disco, house, and other sounds.
