Rock&Off, an annual independent music award, has begun accepting applications for its educational program – the Little Journalism Rock&Off School, which is entering its fifth edition this year.
During a two-month educational program that takes place in cycles, the course brings together experienced music journalists and media professionals from various fields – including print, radio, television, digital platforms, and social media.
“”The idea of the project is to offer young journalists and enthusiasts who would like to pursue journalism the opportunity to collaborate with quality mentors from the world of music journalism, learn about how the media itself functions, make contacts with musicians, and, as the final goal, profile the best among them and create opportunities for them to turn their talent or calling into a career,” said Davor Drezga, manager of the Rock&Off project.
During the program, participants will learn about different forms of music journalism and, through practical assignments and mentoring, gain experience in writing reviews, reports, interviews, and other formats. In addition to regular education, participants will also be involved in coverage of the Rock&Off and Elector awards, and their works will be published on official Rock&Off platforms.

The program is open to all interested individuals aged 16 to 25, regardless of previous journalistic experience. It is ideal for those who want to improve their journalistic skills, learn more about the music industry, or simply try something new.
Lectures will take place on Thursdays and Fridays, in the afternoons (6-9 p.m.), at the Unison studio (Brozova 8a). The program and lectures are held exclusively live!
The application should include: Basic contact information, a resume and a review of an album, concert, an author’s review of a musical event (up to 1500 characters), or links to previous works if the candidates already have them.
The application deadline is November 5th, and all applicants will be contacted by November 8th. Applications that do not contain all required elements or arrive after the stated deadline will not be considered.
