Open Decks Applications – June 28 at Garden Taproom (365 Days of INSITE Croatia)
We invite all aspiring DJs to apply for a chance to play at our birthday celebration, taking place on Saturday, June 28, from 6 PM to 2 AM on the terrace of The Garden Taproom.
As part of our 365 Days of INSITE Croatia celebration, which is designed to give space to artists on the scene who want to introduce themselves to our audience. Alongside visual artists who will present their work, we’re also inviting DJs to join the musical lineup, warming up the crowd before the headline sets by Kali and Madezh.
Who Can Apply?
Any DJ who wants to be part of the INSITE Croatia birthday celebration and is up for getting the crowd ready before the headliners.
How to Apply?
Send us something that best represents your style – this could be a playlist or a recorded DJ set (link to your SoundCloud or mix in MP3 or WAV format).
It’s important that your sound aligns with the musical direction of the headliners, as your role will be to create a proper warm-up vibe.
Please also include a short bio with your name, a few words about yourself, and whether you’ve played live before.
What’s the Vibe?
The Open Decks will run from 6 PM to 9 PM.
It’s a sunset session on the Garden Taproom terrace, so we’re looking for something groovy, danceable, and easygoing – the kind of music that pairs well with cocktails, conversation, and mingling.
We’re open to a variety of genres, as long as the vibe isn’t too hard, dark, or heavy. Think warm, inviting, and uplifting sounds that set the perfect mood for a summer evening.

June 20 (end of day)
Submit your sets or playlists to tunes@insite-croatia.com with the subject line: “OPEN DECKS SIGNUP”
We will announce the chosen DJs by June 23, and all you need to bring to the event is a USB with a formatted tracklist for a Pioneer player.
