Gallery Siva announced its open call for the 2026 program cycle, inviting applications from artists, curators, and collectives interested in showcasing their work in a dynamic and unconventional setting. The deadline to apply is August 15, 2025, and submissions can be made by completing the online application form available at this link. Selected applicants will be notified by the end of December 2025.
Based in the vibrant cultural and community center Medika—a former factory space revitalized by artists through squatting—Gallery Siva operates with a strong commitment to DIY values, artistic autonomy, and freedom of expression. Originating from Zagreb’s street art scene, the gallery has since grown into a multidisciplinary platform supporting experimental and alternative artistic practices.
The 2026 open call is aimed at those working within the fields of contemporary, interdisciplinary, and experimental art, with a particular focus on street art, comics, illustration, design, and other non-traditional forms of creative expression. Galerija Siva welcomes proposals that challenge conventional formats, examine the relationship between space, audience, and media, and foster critical engagement with today’s social and cultural realities.
Artists of all backgrounds—both formally trained and self-taught—are encouraged to apply. The gallery is particularly interested in proposals that push boundaries and reflect diverse voices and perspectives.
