Ukrainian DJ and producer Kirill Kirik has released his first song in Croatian. The track, “Tvoja ljubav” (“Your Love”), was released under the label There Is A Light and showcases a fusion of hypnotic rhythms and grooves, enhanced by vocals created with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
Kirik shared insights into the creative process behind his track “Tvoja ljubav”. From its begining to its debut:Â “I wrote this track very quickly, literally within a day. It was at the end of May before my debut party at the BSH event in Mokrice Castle. I already had edits on Dino Dvornik and Alen Slavica, but I wanted my own track in Croatian. I collected the text from different poems in Ukrainian and then translated it into Croatian. As for the vocals themselves, here Artificial Intelligence came to my aid. After at least 10 attempts, I got what I wanted and what I felt. I put all these puzzles into a track, and the entire process, from idea to final result, took me 3 to 6 hours. The first test was just at the BSH event, and people perceived it perfectly. I’m glad it finally came out.“
In 2015, he founded his own record label, Memory Remains, as a platform to share his artistic vision. Since then, the label has seen significant success, with almost every vinyl release earning positive reviews and being featured in Mixmag Adria’s Vinyl of the Week.
Kirik reached a notable success in 2022 with his collaboration with Franky Rizardo on the track “Diamond“, which remained in the Top 100 Deep House Chart for two months. Known for a sound that evolves with the crowd, Kirik moves seamlessly between deep and tech house, always anchored by powerful grooves.
Looking ahead, Kirik shared his plans for the rest of the year:
“At the end of November, I’ll play in Warsaw alongside fellow Ukrainian DJs Silat Beksi and Fedo. As for releases, in December I’ll drop a single on my own label Memory Remains, called Naha Naha,“ Kirill said and concluded his plans for this year.
