One Drop Music will celebrate its birthday this Saturday at Peti Kupe, the venue where the journey began two years ago. This event will also mark the 10th edition of One Drop Music, featuring a strong lineup of DJs. On November 23, the event will host The Element, a pioneer of electronic music in Malta. Joining him will be Croatian talents, renowned DJ and producer Petar Dundov, and BSSIDE from Šibenik.
The Element has been a leading figure in Malta’s electronic music scene for over 30 years, specializing in melodic house and techno. His career reached new heights with a release on the prestigious Afterlife label, debuting his single Ryder. This milestone brought him international recognition and firmly established his presence on the global stage. Adding another layer to his career, The Element became part of the Zamna label and the dynamic Zamna Soundsystem trio. Despite his decades-long presence since the 1990s, he continues to innovate and leave a lasting global impact.
Petar Dundov, a trailblazer of Croatian electronic music, has similarly elevated his country’s profile in the international music scene. Known for his innovative approach to techno and house, Dundov is regarded as one of the most influential and respected producers in the genre. Outside the studio, he is a sought-after performer, having played at some of the world’s largest clubs and festivals.
Also contributing to this celebratory evening is BSSIDE, a DJ from Šibenik with 20 years of experience. For him, music represents more than sound – it’s an attitude. Over the years, he has performed alongside prominent domestic and international artists, crafting diverse sets that blend melodic, progressive, and intense sounds. Attendees can expect a similar experience during this milestone 10th event.
