Summer is coming to an end, and with it outdoor activities are slowly wrapping up. Still, here are some great places in Zagreb where you can enjoy outdoor gatherings throughout September and October.
Burger Festival Zagreb | September 4 – 14
Until September 14, you can visit the Burger Festival at Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square. With 16 food stands offering a wide variety of burgers, the festival also brings a lively music program, including weekend DJ sets starting at 1 PM. Tonight there will be an open-air cinema under the stars, and on September 14, a Wine & Paint workshop. On Friday, September 12, at 4 PM, there will be table football and table tennis tournament, followed at 5 PM by a fashion flea market hosted by influencers Pamela Badžek aka August XVI and Dora Martinović aka Dorica 505.

Baš Naš at the Lake | September 5 – 21
Until September 21, Bundek Lake hosts the Baš Naš Festival, a perfect blend of gastronomy and music. Expect delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and live performances from Indira Forza ex Colonia, KPP, Jakov Jozinović, Cro Dance Party – Senna M & ET, and ABBA x Mamma Mia tribute. Table reservations for these events are available online.
PLACe Market | Every Friday until October 31
Held at Dolac Market above the city’s main square, PLACe Market has become a popular Friday hangout whenever the sun is shining. With a wide and high-quality selection of dishes from top gastro exhibitors, it’s a must-visit each Friday, with the final date set for October 31.
Plac Mljac – Summer at Trešnjevka Market | September 18–21 & September 25–28
Plac Mljac is another foodie festival happening at Zagreb’s local markets. Over two extended weekends, the famous Trešnjevka market will come alive all day long. Visitors can enjoy tasty homemade produce, food and drinks, as well as live concerts – even late into the night.
Panic Room Croatia | September 27
Celebrate the end of September with an open-air party at Medvedgrad Fortress, hosted by Panic Room. On September 27, the event will feature two stages. The Afrodisiak Floor will host Aaron Sevilla, El Maar b2b Kylianno, and organizer Luka Kosty. Meanwhile, the Melodia Room will get the crowd dancing with Hugo Cantarra, along with local DJs Machado and Marcela.
OktoBeer Fest | October 10 – 19
Closing out the outdoor season before the winter chill, Zagreb’s first-ever Oktobeer Fest will take place at the Zagreb Fair. Inspired by Munich’s iconic Oktoberfest, it promises 10,000 m² of tents, Europe’s largest amusement park, concerts across more than five stages, and a trade fair featuring over 120 exhibitors.
