mezzanotte, real name Marko Bakić, is a 16-year-old producer and DJ from Zadar, fully dedicated to electronic music. He works across multiple genres, but his current focus is on tech house.

As a graduate student at the Blagoje Bersa Music School, where he plays guitar and piano and studies various classical music subjects, Marko combines technical knowledge with his own innate sense of rhythm and atmosphere. He started his career in the Zadar Bar Kult, later receiving support and guidance from fellow DJ Lumix, and very quickly learned how to use CDJs, performing gigs in nightclubs.
Since then, he has performed at numerous venues and festivals, always with the same goal, to create energy that moves and connects people. Inspired by artists like Mau P, Martin Ikin, and Fisher, mezzanotte is focused on developing his sound and aiming for big stages.
Although very young, mezzanotte already shows strong technical skills, and you can find his full guestmix on YouTube or SoundCloud:
INSITE: If you could have a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
MEZZANOTTE: I’d love to have a drink with Martin Garrix. What really inspires me is how early he managed to build such a strong career and develop his own sound. I’d be interested in hearing his stories and learning more about the path he took. Even though my music goes in a different direction, I’m still very curious about his creative process and how he approaches producing EDM hits.
Favorite Track?
I don’t believe in having just one favorite track. Music keeps evolving, and so does my taste. There’s always something new inspiring me, whether it’s a classic or a fresh release.
