Throughout January, Kino Tuškanac, by guesting at the Histrion Cultural Centre (Histrionski dom), will open a retrospective of the legendary Stanley Kubrick.

Kubrick’s films precisely and without moralizing portray the dark side of man, imbued with strong philosophical and satirical undertones. The programme will place the focus on the director with a cycle of 12 films.
Alongside the Kubrick cycle, Histrionski dom will also screen a series of Croatian crime films during January. The Croatian crime cycle includes significant titles from the crime-film genre made in Croatia across various periods, aiming to demonstrate the genre’s development through works by directors such as Goran Rušinović, Fadil Hadžić, Nikola Tanhofer and Zoran Tadić.
