Fris, whose real name is Lovro Friščić, is a Croatian DJ from Zagreb who first entered the music scene in 2018. From the very beginning, he explored a wide range of genres, from drum’n’bass to trap.

Over time, he discovered his true sound in electronic music, particularly bass and tech house, a style he shapes to match his personal vision, occasionally incorporating melodic elements.
Today, Fris is a well-known name on the Croatian music scene, with extensive experience performing on numerous stages, including Kalypso Zrće, Aquarius Zagreb, Notorious Festival, Katran, Out Garden & Rooftop, Boogaloo, The Secret Club, and Lift Beach Zrće. He has also played at a variety of high-end night bars such as Jackie Brown, Narcissus, and Barbieris, among others.

In addition to performing, Fris has been actively involved in event organization. He founded and organized Hype Division events, as well as the Warehouse Project, further contributing to the local electronic music community.
Since last year, he has expanded his creative work into music production, releasing his own tracks, “Stay” and “All I Wanna Do,” along with numerous mashups across a wide variety of genres. He continues to develop his sound while searching for a record label that best aligns with his artistic direction.

INSITE: If you could have a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
FRIS: Probably Dom Dolla, all-time favorite character in the industry.
Favorite Track?
Really don’t have one because I get a new favorite every other week that I put on repeat until I can’t stand it anymore. But as of this moment, it’s the “Die Young” edit from Sidepiece or the Destiny Hills remix – I can’t decide.
