Even though Bose and Steel both already had their guest mixes on our platform, they asked us for a B2B set that meant a great deal to them. More specifically, the founders of Varaždin’s fast-rising collective Tech Grooves sent their mix from Boogaloo and explained how they build their B2B sets.
“As for the set, Steel and I always agree quite spontaneously. We usually brag to each other about how we’ve found some “bangers” or that the track we’ve been waiting for months has finally come out. With him, the set always goes well, and we connect really well — everyone plays one track and that way we keep our own flow the whole time. We also match really well when it comes to effects, tricks, and mixing, so we’re kind of in sync while we play“, said Bose about his collaboration with Steel.
Bose added that he always feels a huge stage fright before a solo performance, but he feels much more relaxed in B2B sets with Steel.
“The atmosphere was really great, the small floor was filled in five minutes, and the set just kept growing as the night went on“, he described the atmosphere, thanked everyone who came to support, and the friends who stood behind them.
