The beloved “Gusta” themed party returns from its hiatus with a daytime edition on Saturday, August 29, titled Gusta Party: Birthday Edition! This celebratory summer event will take place from 5 PM to 10 PM on the terrace of Zagreb’s Boogaloo club, featuring Gusta co-founder and resident DJ Colinda Evangelista. The theme is “birthday,” and the dress code is “dress like it’s your birthday.”

Colinda Evangelista is a self-proclaimed multiple-time national champion in public swearing. A drag queen from the House of Flamingo collective, she has been delighting audiences across Croatia for years with live performances characterized by exceptional aesthetics and hilarious humor. She ventured into music with her debut hit “Jeste gej?” (Are You Gay?), a track heard at practically every queer party in Croatia. In 2024, she performed the song on the stage of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb as part of A Queer Zagreb Night at the Opera (organized by the Domino association) and made her acting debut in the play Infinite Archive by Argentine director Gonzalo Quintana. That same year, she launched her DJ career—which she jokingly calls “world-class” because she once played a set in Buenos Aires. She has entertained crowds at events such as “Lady Gaga in Močvara,” the Pride Ride benefit, “Swashtara” at Boogaloo, multiple editions of Osijek’s “Hajp,” and the first three editions of the Gusta Party.
Tickets are available at CoreEvent.
