After three days of celebrating the elections that ended the power that had endangered the creative industry in recent years, EXIT Festival announced its return to Serbia.

As a reminder, the organizers of EXIT previously stated that the festival had been “practically banned” in Serbia due to the support they extended to students. Consequently, the event did not take place this year in Novi Sad, where it had been held for 25 consecutive years. This year’s edition of the festival was hosted at various locations around the world, ranging from Montenegro and Malta to Egypt.
“After three days of celebrating this historic victory (Serbian style!), we are absolutely ecstatic to confirm that EXIT IS COMING HOME!” they have announced via their Instagram. ”Our original plan was to return in 2028, as a full-scale comeback of the magnitude we’re envisioning requires at least 18 months of preparation. But you’ve overwhelmed us with so much love!”
They have announced that a grand comeback is still scheduled for 2028 but this July at the Fortress will be a special EXIT experience dedicated to celebrating freedom, unity and love. More details about this event will be revealed soon.
