Mirta Gilić, known as Mlrta, is a Zagreb based DJ from Split. Music has always been a crucial part of her life and education, as she graduated from primary and secondary music school.
In her free time Mirta sings, and as a consequence of her long-term interest in music, she started DJing last winter. “I learned to relax, let go and gained a new insight into myself and the people around me on the dancefloor”, Mlrta explained.
So far you could catch her spinning records at Melin, Katran and Beachbox on Brač island.
Mlrta’s signature sound is characterized by groovy beats, along with occasional trips into techno and trance. Moreover, she is no stranger to playing deep house, tech house and funky disco house. She showcased her sound in our new guestmix, now available on Soundcloud.
