With the announcement of nominees across 35 categories in Croatia and the region, voting for Ambasador is now open to the public and industry professionals to recognize the best achievements in electronic music for 2024.
For the eighth consecutive year, the well-known portal Klubska Scena will present awards in 35 categories celebrating excellence in electronic music in Croatia and the region. This initiative is powered by the Klubska Kultura association.
Public voting for the awards is open until November 22 on the website www.nagrada-ambasador.eu, while a panel of over 60 jury members will determine the winners in the professional categories.
The jury consists of expert professionals from the electronic music industry who have achieved significant success. The panel includes established authors, performers, PR agents, photographers, designers, event organizers, club owners, music journalists, and independent researchers from the scene.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024, at KUC Travno in Zagreb. For the first time, the program will open with an exhibition titled “Totalka” by Marko Obradovic Edge, one of the region’s most respected photographers. The two-day program will feature musical performances by bands and live acts and will continue with a discussion-focused event on December 14 at Radionica 32 in Zagreb.
“Totalka” Exhibition by Marko Obradović Edge
Award-winning photographer Marko Edge will showcase festival photos from both DJ and audience perspectives in his “Totalka” exhibition. Respected in Europe and beyond for his festival photography, he captures events like Cercle, Time Warp, Sonus, and Ultra Europe. With a decade of experience as the official photographer for Exit and ten solo exhibitions, he’s a staple at most regional festivals, capturing the emotions and energy of each moment.
Discussion Program
This year’s educational and discussion program will address current and relevant topics through panels and workshops. Key players from the scene will share insights and advise aspiring creatives on building a career in music by sharing their “know-how”. The full program will be announced soon.

The only independent music award encompassing the entire electronic music industry in Croatia and the region, the Ambasador Award serves as a platform for networking, idea exchange, and collaboration. The award underscores the importance of electronic music in Croatia’s cultural and creative industries and honors authors, performers, festivals, clubs, promising artists, radio shows, and more. Over 900 proposals were submitted during the preliminary nomination cycle by the expert jury and public submissions.
Through its initiatives, the project emphasizes music creation, inspires upcoming talents to pursue creative work, and encourages cultural professionals to remain dedicated to their craft.
