Amsterdam Dance Event is introducing ADE Lab Discovery, a new free-to-access strand designed to make its talent and education platform more open to anyone interested in electronic music culture. Running from 21–23 October 2026, the programme will transform the ADE Lab Village at Amsterdam’s Westerpark into a walk-in space for music discovery, hands-on experimentation and cultural exchange.
The program does not require application, prior knowledge or dedicated ticket. Visitors can simply enter the Lab Village between 10:00 and 18:00 and explore its different spaces and sessions.
A central part of the initiative is the Gear Test Lab at Het Ketelhuis, where visitors can get hands-on with DJ equipment, instruments and music-production technology. Moreover, it also includes product demonstrations, showcases and accessible “Get Into” sessions aimed at people who may be new to particular areas of electronic music.
At Radio Radio, ADE will host intimate listening sessions focused on the stories, scenes and people behind electronic music, bringing together artists, collectives and figures from Amsterdam’s music community. ADE Lab Discovery will also spread across partner locations within the Lab Village, including Het Meterhuisje, Amsterdam Flavours, Pacific Amsterdam, De Bakkerswinkel and Bar Coco.
With ADE celebrating its 30th edition in 2026, ADE Lab Discovery offers a particularly accessible way to engage with the event’s educational and creative side, opening the door to a new generation of electronic music enthusiasts alongside the artists and professionals already shaping the scene.
