The popularity of vinyl is on the rise, largely due to the unexpected interest from Generation Z in analog sound. We’ve explored where in Zagreb you can find both new and vintage records, as well as the best spots for electronic music collections.
While you no longer have to leave your bed to expand your vinyl collection, there’s something special about visiting a record store in person. It’s a unique experience where you leave not only with a record – possibly one you didn’t even plan on buying – but also with interesting conversations, often with friendly and passionate sellers.
Although the number of record stores in Zagreb has decreased compared to the past, the selection is still quite solid in the capital – especially compared to the rest of Croatia, which we’ll cover later.
We have selected some places where you can find electronic music on vinyl:
Record Stores
Free Bird Music Shop 📍Tratinska 50, 10000, Zagreb
Customers generally have positive experiences at this store, both in terms of selection and service. Their catalog covers a wide range of genres and is available on their website. What makes this shop stand out is its affordable prices on second-hand records, as well as an outlet section. Their Instagram profile even describes them as “The biggest second-hand vinyl record store in this part of Europe.” They also offer a vinyl exchange program – if you have a record from their wanted list, you can trade it for another record of the same price range. In addition to records, they sell music in other formats and hi-fi equipment.
PDV Records x Merchandise 📍Međimurska ul. 21, 10000, Zagreb
PDV is a record label that also runs a store selling various music formats, merchandise, DJ equipment, and turntable maintenance products. This shop likely has the largest selection of new electronic music records in Zagreb, as well as releases from the local scene. A unique feature of this place is that you can have your own record made – whether it’s your own music or that of an artist you love.
Dirty Old Shop 📍Tratinska 34, 10000, Zagreb
Located further down Tratinska Street, the heart of Zagreb’s vinyl scene, this shop offers more than just records. It has a wide selection of collectibles, books, merchandise, and posters. Additionally, it serves as a ticketing service and operates under its own record label of the same name.
Analogni Zvuk 📍Dubrava 31, 10040, Zagreb
While not as centrally located as the other shops, this store is worth a visit. It offers a diverse catalog spanning multiple genres, with a particularly good selection of electronic music. You can also bring your records here for cleaning or selling. The store has a friendly atmosphere, allowing you to listen to records on a turntable before purchasing – while enjoying a cup of coffee.
Karma Music Shop 📍Podgorska ul. 3, 10000, Zagreb
One of Zagreb’s older music stores, Karma Music Shop sells vinyl records and other music formats. It also buys used records, CDs, DVDs, and even cassette tapes. You’re most likely to find rock and ex-Yugoslavian artists here, but they also carry some electronic music. They offer a good number of second-hand records, making prices more affordable.
Woodstock Shop 📍Tratinska 31, 10000, Zagreb
Though small in size, this shop has an impressively large selection of records. They also organize record fairs, which you can learn more about in the rest of this article. You’ll find a variety of used records here, and they offer both record selling and exchange services.
CD & Second Hand Shop RoxY 📍Savska cesta 34, 10000, Zagreb
A tiny shop with an ever-changing selection of second-hand records across different genres. It’s a great place to discover unique finds, and they also buy used records. Located close to other record stores, it’s a convenient stop on your vinyl-hunting journey.
Flea Markets & Fairs

Held once a month at Boogaloo Club, this flea market offers a wide variety of items, from collectibles to unique jewelry and clothing. It also has a large section dedicated to vinyl and CD vendors. While the electronic music selection was limited last time, the stock constantly changes, so you never know what hidden gems you might find.

This two-day fair will feature 50 to 80 exhibitors from Croatia, Europe, and the region, offering a vast selection of vinyl records, CDs, and vintage hi-fi equipment. Admission is €2, and exhibitors can register here.
Hrelić Flea Market 📍Sajmišna cesta 8, 10000, Zagreb
Every Sunday, as long as the weather is good, many locals head to the eastern part of Zagreb early in the morning to explore this massive flea market, which opens at 6 AM. Hrelić is an endless source of things you don’t need but will still buy for €2. There are also plenty of vinyl records available, including rare and high-quality finds – if you’re patient enough to dig through the selection. With coffee, sunshine, and some ćevapi, a Sunday morning at Hrelić makes for a great little adventure.
Britanac Flea & Antique Market 📍Britanski trg, 10000, Zagreb
If Hrelić feels too far or too chaotic, Britanski trg on Sundays might be the perfect alternative for finding unique vintage items. This market is a bit more organized but still offers a wide selection of second-hand goods and vinyl records. You might even come across old turntables from time to time. The market is open every Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
