Apple Music has expanded its global live radio program by launching three new radio stations, including Apple Music Club, a station that streams dance and electronic music 24/7. This live-hosted radio is free for everyone, with no subscription required.
The platform has announced exclusive mixes from some of the world’s most influential and forward-thinking DJs. The station is hosted by Tim Sweeney, a DJ and former host of New York University’s WNYU-FM radio station, and NAINA, a DJ known for her inimitable blend of hard and fast dance music. Her style moves seamlessly between techno, footwork, and jungle, and she brings prior experience from platforms like NTS and BBC 1Xtra.
Apple also confirmed that listeners can expect new and exclusive mixes from renowned artists such as Honey Dijon, Jamie xx, FKA twigs, and Nia Archives. Additionally, sets curated by Apple Music in collaboration with brands like Circoloco, Tomorrowland, The Warehouse Project, fabric, Hï Ibiza, Stone Island Sound, and others will be available.
“My show is a series of recordings taken from The Floor, a club I opened for 10 days in London in May 2024,” Jamie xx explained. “I invited all my friends and collaborators to play sets alongside me. Some of my favorite DJs and artists feature in these sets, and I’m so grateful to them. I’m thrilled to share all these performances in one place for listeners on Apple Music.”
In addition to Apple Music Club, Apple has launched two more stations:
- Apple Música Uno, dedicated to showcasing Latin music from around the world
- Apple Music Chill, designed to encourage listeners to find calm and balance, featuring a continuous flow of relaxing music highlights across various genres
