Although summer is still technically ongoing, the big news comes with the announcement of Croatia’s famous Halloween party, as the music brand BSH announces the arrival of techno scene legend Adam Beyer on October 31. For seven years, Día de Los Muertos has been a musical spectacle that sells out weeks in advance and is always held at special locations. Up to this year, it has been attended by as many as 15,000 people.

Almost everything is known about Adam Beyer. This musical wizard, even after 30 years of his career, holds a summer residency at the world’s best club on Ibiza, Hi. He is one of the few DJs whose career has lasted continuously, remaining at the top since the 1990s. Beyer has performed multiple times at nearly all club festivals around the world, and he is the first to have completed 100 performances at the world-famous Awakenings Festival.
In addition to numerous compilations and radio shows, he has launched three record labels, including the massive Drumcode, a globally dominant brand with its own radio show. Beyer was the one who sparked the new wave of European techno in the mid-’90s with releases on Planet Rhythm Records and the iconic Drumcode. Today, there is no bigger techno label or brand. In addition to his performance in Zagreb and his Ibiza shows, Beyer has another residency this fall at M2 Miami, and he is going on a tour in South Africa and South America.

Día de Muertos is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2, although other days can be celebrated, such as October 31 or November 6. It is most widely observed in Mexico and Latin communities, and it is the equivalent of the Day of the Dead commemorated in Europe.
The announcement of the music giant’s arrival in Zagreb is a call for everyone to start planning the best costumes or makeup under which they can successfully hide at the party leading up to the New Year.
