After a summer filled with events featuring Carl Cox at Cave Romane, Black Coffee the Pula Amphitheater, and Buda Castle in Budapest, Hungary, BSH has prepared another special surprise for early September. Just a short drive from the Croatian capital, the historic Mokrice Castle will serve as the backdrop for FORT X on September 5th. This new music concept will transform the end of summer into an all-day and all-night celebration of electronic music.

One of the most beautiful castles in this part of Europe—located just a few kilometers from the Croatian border and within easy reach of Zagreb—will take on a completely new look for the night. Centuries-old walls, courtyards, the park, and the surrounding forest will merge with top-tier production and music from some of the biggest names on the global house and techno scene. The castle is first mentioned in historical records dating back to 1444, and the contrast between its historic architecture and contemporary electronic sound promises to be one of the event’s most captivating features.
FORT X kicks off at 3 PM with the opening of “The Courtyard.” As the sun sets, the event moves into “The Castle,” where the program will continue until 5 AM. For those who want even more, an afterparty will follow, running until 9 AM—making for nearly 18 hours of non-stop music across multiple festival zones.

For this premiere edition, the organizers have curated a lineup worthy of Europe’s largest electronic music festivals. Headlining the event is Dixon, one of the most influential DJs of his generation and a co-founder of the iconic Innervisions label. Joining him at Mokrice are Maceo Plex—a globally renowned figure in the house and techno scene—and Âme DJ, another key protagonist of the Innervisions sound. Joining them will be Nic Fanciulli—a British DJ and producer who has been at the pinnacle of the global house scene for over two decades—alongside Jimi Jules, Butch, and Fiona Kraft. A strong regional stamp will be added to the festival by Aney F, Einfakinn, Elena Mikac, Joe Quinn, Pablo Panda, and MĪMĪ X FY.
For BSH, FORT X marks the continuation of a year in which this local music brand has made a significant international breakthrough, while also upholding the philosophy that has guided it in recent years: bringing the biggest names in electronic music to locations that are experiences on their own. This time, the event takes place practically on Zagreb’s doorstep. Tickets are available via the Entrio.hr system.
