The 10th edition of the cultural event Gallery Rally (Reli po galerijama), taking place this Saturday in Zagreb and the following week in Pula, offers visitors fantastic exhibitions from renowned Italian artists, alongside many Croatian artists from the younger and middle generations, as well as some of the most famous local creators.
Gallery Rally is an interactive cultural event that brings together and maps galleries in Croatian cities to promote gallery spaces and the artists exhibiting within them. What makes this event particularly interesting is its innovative approach to gallery tours: visitors collect stickers at each gallery to place on a map, and those who visit all the galleries receive a symbolic diploma for their contribution to culture. In addition to printed maps, visitors can also explore galleries using a new interactive web app. The 10th anniversary promises an excellent and diverse program.

In Zagreb, this Saturday, October 19, from 5 PM to 10 PM, the rally connects 15 different art galleries. The first stop is Šira Gallery (Preradoviceva street 13), where visitors pick up maps and view the “Flowerboy” exhibition by artist Borna Ivanuša. Next, visitors can explore Forum Gallery, showcasing “Barbarogenij i nadrealizam” curated by Davorka Peric, and Fotoklub Zagreb, which opens a group photography exhibition titled “Architecture,” featuring photographers from across Croatia.
At Kranjčar Gallery, visitors will see selected works by Italian artist Gianluca Di Pasquale from 2015 to 2024. Ulupuh Gallery offers Sabina Kolonić’s exhibition “Life-Process-Art,” while Karas Gallery features Karl Laro and Luana Lojić with their exhibition “Karas+Kvart.” Art & CeRZe Gallery hosts the annual exhibition of HDLU members. Meanwhile, Lexart Depot presents Sandro Đukić’s exhibition “Wanderlust,” and at Trotoar Gallery, visitors can experience an introspective exhibition titled “Dear Diary: Layers of Dreams” by OKO.

In Workshop 32, Sven Harambašić presents “Identity Crisis,” and SC Gallery features Sandro Đukić’s “Around the World 1990-2024.” The tour continues at VN Gallery with Goran Trbuljak’s “Story of J,” while Zen Contemporary Art Gallery showcases “Island’s Mystic and Echoes of Classical Beauty” by Natalie Borčić Peuc and Italian artist Daniele Fortuna. Manuš Gallery features works by Mimmo Paladino, and the final stop is Kaptol Gallery (Radiceva street 32), where the renowned Croatian artist Tisja Kljaković Braić presents her new works in the exhibition “Cesta.”
At Kaptol Gallery, there will be a special musical performance by the guitar duo Stojaković-Čižmek, followed by the distribution of diplomas. After visiting all the galleries, a formal after-party will reveal a new location transformed by young artists from Karas Gallery. This performative happening, designed by Karl Laro and Luana Lojić as part of the EU project CreArt 3.0: Transparency Agency, takes place above the Kvatrić Market at Marticeva 67 (2nd floor).

After the exciting edition in Zagreb, the Gallery Rally moves to Pula on October 26, offering a varied artistic program across 14 galleries. It begins at HUiU Gallery (Zagrebacka street 27), where visitors can collect maps and enjoy the exhibition “Moranje je stil života” (Must is a Way of Life) by artist Eni Blašković, curated by Stephanie Peršić. The program continues at the Student Gallery with Nika Vitković’s exhibition “Reflection of Layers,” while Rock Gallery takes visitors through the history of rock in Pula with a photography exhibition titled “Pula Rock History – Memories.”
Other highlights include a retrospective by Marijan Detoni at Gallery C8, an exhibition at the Archaeological Museum, and many more across various galleries, concluding with a workshop where visitors can print their diplomas. An after-party featuring music, street food, and a vinyl market will take place at Monte Paradiso, with performances by local DJs Sunny Sun, Kool S, and 207.

This event is free for visitors and supported by the Zagreb Tourist Board, the City of Pula, the Pula Tourist Board, Erste Bank, and Arena Hospitality Group.
