Vjekoslav Jurišić, also known as Liksonix, is a DJ and bassist from Podstrana who has been passionately involved in electronic music for over seven years. He built his experience by playing with various bands before diving into solo DJing. He is one of the founders of Los Barbaros, a collective that organizes pop-up parties and produces a YouTube podcast series aiming to showcase Croatian DJs, producers, and musicians.

He plays a wide range of electronic music genres, from house to techno, but has a particular love for deep house and dark disco. So far, he has performed with the Baraka collective, at Los Barbaros parties, in various beach bars, cafés, pubs, craft beer festivals, the Split Advent, and has spent the past two seasons as a resident DJ at Split’s Bojler club (by Bojler).

He has shared the DJ booth with both international and local names such as Leo Pol, Marina Karamarko, Andrej Jelić, Madezh, Feta, AM, Tyson, Pessto, Malik, and Beepolar.
The set he prepared for the INSITE Guestmix Series is a blend of digital and analog tracks he’s been listening to in recent weeks. You can check out his mix on our newly launched YouTube channel or on our SoundCloud:
INSITE: If you could grab a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
LIKSONIX: Hernán Cattáneo, because he’s one of the greatest DJs of our time. I admire the way he mixes, and maybe he’d even give me some useful advice.
