niniva, born and living in Zagreb has been DJing since 2020., but has loved electronic music since she was a little girl. She builds her sets in an eclectic way in terms of genre, with deep and heavy tracks and always a dash of ethnic sounds from all over the world. Even though she is a lover of bass-heavy sounds such as dubstep and jungle, there is always a place for psytrance, techno, and other forms in her mixes.

When she is not DJing she is producing and hosting radio shows. niniva has been a part of Croatia’s independent and alternative culture scene since 2018. when she joined Radio Student in Zagreb. There she hosted and produced music radio shows – Knjiški Moljac, Late nite, and Zvučni Zid.

Later, she started her own music show Dodona Sessions which aired for two seasons, on Radio Student & Radio 808 in Zagreb and Radio Roža in Rijeka. At Dodona Sessions she hosted a wide range of musicians from Croatia and beyond – MCs, electronic music producers, DJs, bands and singer-songwriters.
Currently, niniva is focusing on DJing, and has already played in various clubs – Močvara, Klub Radio Tvornica, Funk, Pločnik, Aquarius, Rock Star, Super Super, Melin, P4, and festivals – Escape the City, Kvart, Špancirfest, Shelterfest, EYE – Arena Varaždin.
niniva has prepared a mix for Insite, showcasing her signature style – packed with hard-hitting beats and heavy tracks infused with psytrance and techno elements. You can listen to her guestmix on our YouTube channel or SoundCloud:
INSITE: If you could have a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
niniva: Probably Simon Postford and Raja Ram from Shpongle. I would love to pick their brains for a little while.
