Grenco is a producer and DJ from Croatia, co-founder of Greenlight, with whom he represents a new generation of the country’s underground scene. His musical foundations lie in bass-infused, hip-shaking, and hi hat-loving beats.

By now, Grenco has established a consistent presence on the local and regional music scene, performing at renowned clubs such as Masters, Boogaloo, Pogon Kulture, and Zone Club, and appearing at major festivals including Love International in Tisno, Sea Star, Beatpoint, and more.
In 2024, he released his debut EP, “Route Setter,” on the THANQ label. The EP garnered support from esteemed artists such as Amaliah, DJ Sweet6teen, and Julie Marghilano.
Driven by a shared vision, Grenco and a collective of like-minded artists co-founded Greenlight. This collective focused on a lush jungle aesthetic, towering plants, enchanting green lights, and captivating visuals is providing music experiences in unique locations, and breathing life into otherwise ordinary spaces. In 2023 they received Ambasador award for Croatia’s ‘Collective of the year’. On their club nights, they hosted recognised names such as Per Hammar, Amaliah, Kepler, Kassian, AR:TE and many other established regional artists.

INSITE: If you could have a drink with any DJ/producer, who would it be?
GRENCO: I’d love the chance to pick the brain of Frits Wentink — DJ, producer, and the driving force behind the Swap Shop label. He’s a true master of his craft, with an incredible body of work released under various aliases. It would be amazing to learn a thing or two from such a brilliant producer 🙂
Favorite track?
I never really have a definitive answer to this question, since my collection is changing rapidly. But lately, I’ve been spinning Yaleesa Hall’s Cleanse quite a lot.
