The first edition of Gusta Party, titled Office Edition, will take place on Friday, February 21, in the main hall of the iconic Zagreb club Boogaloo. Gusta Party is a new series of themed parties organized by drag performer and DJ Colinda Evangelista and producer Karla Kostadinovski from the drag queer collective House of Flamingo. DJ Colinda Evangelista will be joined at the decks by Elena Mikac and Pacho. As the event’s name suggests, the theme is “office,” and the dress code is business sexual.

“Gusta Party was created out of a desire to expand the existing clubbing scene – a welcoming space for everyone interested in having a great time with a variety of dance music genres. By calling it ‘themed,’ we want to create a shared atmosphere for expressing creativity,” said the organizers.
Colinda Evangelista describes herself as a “multiple-time national champion in public swearing.” A drag queen from the House of Flamingo collective, she has been delighting audiences across Croatia for years with her live performances, known for their striking aesthetics and outrageous humor. Last year, she ventured into music with her debut track Jeste gej?, a hit that can be heard at almost every queer party in Croatia. In 2024, she performed this song on the stage of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb as part of A Queer Zagreb Night at the Opera, organized by Domino. She also made her acting debut in the play Infinite Archive by Argentine director Gonzalo Quintana. That same year, she launched her DJ career – one she calls “global” because she once played in Buenos Aires. She has made crowds dance at events like Lady Gaga Night at Močvara, Pride Ride Benefit, and Swashtara at Boogaloo, and she will soon perform at Hajp in Osijek. As co-founder of Gusta Party, she will be behind the decks there every few months.

Elena Mikac is a young DJ of the new generation who entered the scene in 2020. She is a creative member of the team behind Dobar House, and her growing demand is justified by her wide-ranging repertoire – from house to minimal, deep tech, and techno, along with many subgenres. She was also co-owner of the record label Dobar House, which, besides releasing quality house music, organizes numerous fantastic events, significantly contributing to Croatia’s electronic music industry. She won Best Young Selector at the Elector Awards 2022 and the NXT Award at the Ambasador Awards 2023. She has performed at Ultra Europe Resistance Closing Party, Telekom Electronic Beats Zagreb, and nearly all major Croatian house and techno brands, including Sonus Festival, We Love Sound, Future Scope, Defected Zagreb, BSH, and Barbarellas Discotheque. Despite her relatively short but successful career, she has shared the decks with renowned artists like Honey Dijon, Riva Starr, Prunk, Dennis Cruz, and many others.

Patrik Kovačić, known as Pacho, began his artistic journey in street and club dance 12 years ago. Over time, he transitioned into DJ-ing, using music as a new form of self-expression. His sound is rooted in minimal tech, acid, deep house, groovy, and club vibes, but his deep connection with music allows him to explore various genres seamlessly, reflecting his dance background. For Patrik, music is more than just sound – it’s a language of movement and emotion. He has been part of the Soulectors collective since its beginnings but recently embarked on a solo path, highlighting collaborations with the Linija – clothing brand from Rijeka, Sexy Wednesdays at Rijeka’s Rakhia Bar, and Linija parties at Nemo Club, Brač’s 585 Club, and Hvar’s Ka’Lavanda Bar. In Zagreb, he has DJed at Masters, Funk, Peti Kupe, Dva Osam, Željezničar, and Swashtara at Boogaloo.
