Ardee (aka Space Cowboy) is a Zagreb based DJ and a part of recently formed Vortex Collective. Her journey into the world of DJing began modestly, spinning tracks at home with friends early this year and participating in open decks at Rijeka’s Manual Club and London’s Nexum. Since then, she presented her style to the Zagreb’s scene at Katran and most recently Rockstar bar.
She describes her sets as a Space Odyssey, characterized by cosmic sounds that transport listeners on a journey through the universe. Her ability to blend the latest releases with long-forgotten gems from the ’90s showcases her deep musical prowess.
With her collective, she is on a mission to unite the Zagreb electronic music scene by fostering a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive community through a wide range of events. She invites everyone who resonates with this mission—from audio and visual artists to dancers in the crowd—to join the community and help build it together.
Ardee’s meticulous song selection spans a wide array of genres, including progressive house, progressive trance, tech house, and acid house, all thoughtfully spiced up with breakbeat. Her goal is to introduce a fresh and exciting sound to Zagreb’s crowd, taking them on an odyssey that navigates from introspective and dark tones to more upbeat and playful rhythms, which he showed in her new guestmix on our Soundcloud platform.
