From January 20 to January 23, 2025, a workshop dedicated to DJing will take place, designed for established musicians and producers, as well as complete beginners who want to learn the basics of DJing and electronic music. The workshop will be held at the Attack club and the Fajnputz music studio in Medika.

Participation in the workshop is free, and you can register until January 18, 2025, at this link. Spots are limited.
Through the educational program, participants will have the opportunity to refine their skills, present their work, and develop their unique musical expression.
The workshop is divided into several segments, covering technical, creative, and personal approaches to DJing.
Technical segment
Learn how to use basic DJ equipment – turntables, mixers, controllers, speakers, and relevant software. The fundamentals of music mixing (beatmatching, crossfading) and understanding rhythm and song structure will be explained.
Creative segment
Participants will choose and develop their personal musical style and work toward creating their own DJ set, which they will practice performing in a club setting.
Personal segment
This part of the workshop focuses on understanding the emotional aspects of DJing, including managing stress and nervousness before performances, building confidence, and aligning energy with the audience. You’ll learn how to create a positive atmosphere and maintain mental clarity during performances.
“The goals of the workshop are to promote musical creativity in the field of alternative and non-commercial electronic music, encourage young people to actively participate in the urban music scene, and increase the number of young participants in AKC Attack’s programs,” according to the event description on their Facebook page.
The workshop will be led by Ivan Pavin, also known as Winpa. Ivan is an experienced DJ, organizer, and collaborator with AKC Attack, as well as the founder of the Hybrid party series. His passion for music was shaped through underground parties and festivals like Outlook, Dimensions, Mo:Dem, and many others, giving him extensive experience that he now shares with new generations of DJs.
