Set between Costinești and Tuzla on Romania’s coastline, Nibiru is being meticulously crafted as a seasonal “temporary city,” fully operational each summer and designed from scratch. It spans approximately 1.6 million m²—making it one of the largest private entertainment developments in Romanian history—and is projected for a July 2026 opening.
A universe built for everyone
Nibiru brands itself as more than a destination—it’s an “entertainment ecosystem” that seamlessly integrates a wide range of attractions within a single cohesive environment. This complex includes an open air mall, theme-park-style “Thrill District” with rides and adrenaline charged experiences, a family friendly “Kids district”, festival and concert venue that can host up to 150.000 people, world’s largest outdoor nightclub, Nibiru Arena, with 30.000-person capacity and many other zones, such as Chill District (relaxation oases), Flavor District (culinary variety), Creator’s District (media-friendly spaces), and a Night Market.
The concept is shaped by seasoned creative professionals such as Joshua Cox, co-founder of SOLE DXB (Dubai), with events curated by teams including George Carabelea of Beach, Please!
With a Phase I investment of over €50 million, Nibiru stands as the largest single entertainment investment in Romanian private-sector history. It aims to transform the limping Black Sea coast into a vibrant summer magnet, targeting over 3 million visitors per season, with affordable experience packages starting at around 100–150 RON (including food, drink, and entertainment).
Nibiru Universe is poised to reinvent Romania’s summer scene—creating an immersive “city of entertainment.” Set to rival iconic summer hotspots like Ibiza and Mykonos but with a uniquely Romanian twist, Nibiru aims to become the new capital of summer in Central and Eastern Europe.
