Last weekend, Peti Kupe hosted the highly expected debut of Red Axes on the Zagreb scene under their resident program Sequences. Known for their mix of electronic music, post-punk, and psychedelia, the duo – Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi – as expected delivered a night that left an undeniable mark on the crowd. Take a minute to look at the moments and dance moves caught on camera last Saturday by the talented Emil Varga.

Sequences is gaining more and more recognition from the Zagreb audience, and as one of the owners of the venue, Antonio Zuza, previously explained in an interview with us: “SEQUENCES is recognized as a program that offers a slightly ‘darker’ sound, similar to what Berghain has so the majority of our guests are also its residents. This is a novelty we wanted to offer Zagreb’s audience so they don’t always have to go abroad to listen to these kinds of artists. Now the audience can listen to them at our venue in central Zagreb almost once a month“.

Peti Kupe, a former railway station turned into a cultural hub, has rapidly become one of Zagreb’s most important spaces for electronic music and artistic expression. In addition to hosting Red Axes’ remarkable debut, Peti Kupe recently received significant international recognition. Resident Advisor, a leading global electronic music platform, honored the venue as their “Club of The Week“, describing it in their post as a “vibrant cultural hub blending music, art, education, and gastronomy.”
