UMEK, one of the world’s most influential techno artists, is returning to Split after a full ten years. The Slovenian electronic music producer will perform on August 21st at the Porat club, headlining the debut edition of the new NOISE event series. Along with UMEK, the lineup consists of the popular Croatian female DJs and producers Insolate, Kali, and SKA. Tickets are available via the Core Event platform.
The organizers emphasize that the goal of the NOISE project is to contribute to the long-term development of the electronic music scene in Split and to bring in renowned domestic and international artists.
“We aim to offer high-quality techno events to the Split audience and create a platform that will grow year after year. UMEK’s return after ten years provided the ideal opportunity to launch this initiative, and we are particularly pleased to have assembled a strong lineup of Croatian female DJs alongside him.“
For over three decades, UMEK has remained at the very pinnacle of the global techno scene. Throughout his career, he has performed at major international festivals such as Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Time Warp, and Ultra Music Festival, while his tracks are regularly released on leading global techno labels. His energetic sets and distinctive sound have made him one of the most sought-after electronic music artists..
Joining him on stage will be Insolate—one of Croatia’s most successful techno DJs and producers—whose performances have captivated audiences at numerous European clubs and festivals. She will be joined by Kali and SKA, two representatives of the local electronic scene who have been garnering increasing attention from audiences in recent years.
