From July 17 to 20, Martinska in Šibenik will once again host Sea Sound Festival, a small-scale event dedicated to sound system culture and DIY ethics. With three sound systems and a diverse mix of artists, the festival blends music, camping, and community on a pine-covered peninsula across the bay from Šibenik’s old town.
Now in its latest edition, Sea Sound continues to create a space for those looking for an alternative to Croatia’s mainstream summer festivals. This year brings together crews and selectors from across the region, alongside key names like Channel One Sound System, P.A.I.N., and Dubblestandart. The rest of the lineup includes Plazmatick, Feeks, Maya, Grumen, Little Vex, and many others – all supported by Seasplash, Roadtripper, and Prevara sound systems.

Martinska is a wooded coastal site just across the bay from Šibenik, known for its stripped back setup and natural surroundings. The infrastructure is minimal – a few clearings for stages and tents, basic facilities, and direct access to the sea – but it’s precisely this simplicity that defines the atmosphere. With national parks and small coastal towns nearby, the location offers a quiet contrast to Croatia’s larger festival venues, placing the focus firmly on sound, setting, and community.

A full festival ticket is available on this link, and it covers both the music and on-site camping for all four days. Weekend, day, and group tickets are also available at early bird prices. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own tents and make use of the shaded, coastal terrain. An Instagram giveaway is also live on @insite_croatia, where two winners will each receive two tickets – a chance to bring a friend and experience the festival together.
