Three years. Hundreds of nights. Countless hours of music.
Peti Kupe is celebrating its third anniversary, and as it fits the occasion, the birthday weekend will be very special. On Friday, March 21st, for the first time an all night performance by Homage Collective. The following day, on Saturday, March 22nd, DJs Gerd Janson and Pepi Jogarde will play a back-to-back set.

Friday… The Homage Collective
Over the past year, the Homage Collective performance has become one of the most awaited nights in the Peti Kupe and Zagreb nightlife scene. Taking inspiration from major world cities, this collective, in collaboration with the club, has offered a top-tier program with a more refined and modern sound than usual. Paying tribute to music greats and global sounds, the collective is established out of a group of numerous renowned local artists. Their repertoire so far includes Roy Ayers, Chaka Khan, Jamiroquai, Brazilian music, Curtis Mayfield, Jimi Tenor, Arsen Dedić, Stevie Wonder, and Quincy Jones.
For their tenth milestone performance and celebration of Peti Kupe’s anniversary, they have prepared a selection of the best from their past performances. As the event will start later than usual it will last all night. Supporting the collective through the night are DJs Neno Martinović and Vedran Rako.

Saturday… Sound Circuit w/ Gerd Janson B2B Pepi Jogarde
The next day, Saturday’s back-to-back performance brings together two music specialists and friends – Gerd Janson and Pepi Jogarde.
Gerd Janson is a legendary DJ, producer, and founder of the cult label Running Back. His sets are broad-ranging – spanning multiple shades of techno, house, and disco, seamlessly blending classics and forgotten gems with fresh tracks, often months or even years before other DJs discover them. As a longtime resident of Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson and Berlin’s Panorama Bar, Gerd typically plays more than 100 gigs a year at clubs and festivals worldwide.
After several successful sets in Peti Kupe, he will once again show up and elevate the celebration, side by side with his friend. Pepi Jogarde is a local legend with a strong presence and influence on the scene. Through Freilauf and other programs, as well as his radio shows, he has raised generations of clubbers, and his music selection is always ahead of the curve. Pepi is synonymous with quality and passion for music.

The duo will mix all night, as the DJ booth will be placed at the center of the club, at the same level as the dancers. The “Sound Circuit” is a concept that merges sound and space into a unique audiovisual experience. It’s not just decoration but an integral part of the event, designed to increase the sensation of music and connect the audience with the space in a new way. The birthday celebration is the perfect occasion to bring this experience back.

Tickets for both events are available to purchase online, and also if any are left at the entrance. Besides individual tickets, a special birthday package covering both nights is also available.
