Good news from the Future Scope collective: the already announced spectacle at Vinkuran’s Cave Romane, featuring the legendary Paul Kalkbrenner on July 25, gets another highlight! On Friday, July 26, the stage will be taken over by none other than Ben Klock, an icon of Berlin’s underground techno scene.
Event Overview
In this unique Istrian location, the Cave Romane in Vinkuran, Future Scope and the Istrian collective Balance have joined forces to create an unforgettable two-day party experience. The Cave Romane, a historic quarry that supplied material for famous Roman buildings such as the Amphitheatre and the Arch of the Sergii in Pula, now provides the perfect ambiance for the fusion of historical heritage and modern electronic sounds.
Day 1: Paul Kalkbrenner
Paul Kalkbrenner, one of the most respected DJs and producers in the world, a pioneer of the German techno scene and a global superstar, is known for his rich discography, impressive live performances at the world’s biggest festivals, and the cult film “Berlin Calling”. His energy and charisma make every performance a special experience that electronic music fans should not miss. On July 25, local DJs Lemon, Jock, Shipe, and Neroa will warm up the audience before Kalkbrenner takes the stage.
Day 2: Ben Klock
The magical stage beneath Istria’s oldest quarry will host another unforgettable event on the following evening, July 26, when Ben Klock, an icon of Berlin’s underground techno, takes the stage.
Klock is a key figure in the world of techno music, known for his long-standing residency at the legendary Berlin club Berghain, where he has been a resident DJ since 2005. His nicknames, from “prince” to “king of techno”, reflect his enormous influence on the underground scene and his ability to create dynamic, hypnotic, marathon techno sets. Through his impressive recording career, world tours, and unique sound, Klock has become a key figure in the global techno movement.
At this special event, alongside Klock, local DJs DJ Jock, Lemon, and Shipe will also perform, bringing their distinctive sound and energy. With his summer appearance, Ben Klock returns to the Future Scope audience after a phenomenal performance at Zagreb’s Boogaloo club last November.
