Celebrating its milestone 10th anniversary, Ultra Europe 2024 delivered an unforgettable experience in Split, Croatia. As a first-time attendee, I was amazed by the vibrant atmosphere in the crowd. The festival had an international crowd, with most from Spain, the USA, France, Australia, and Germany, alongside the highest number of Croatian supporters to date. With around 150,000 attendees, the extensive security measures, including numerous ticket checks and a visible security presence, ensured a safe environment for us.
Navigating the venue at Park Mladezi was made easier because of Ultra Europe’s live Instagram updates, which provided crucial details about set times, stages, and instructions. The festival also provided a detailed map, allowing us to easily find stages, food stalls, and other amenities. The staff were highly helpful and always available to assist with any questions or concerns.
Memorable Performances
The final night was packed full of memorable performances. Afrojack, who played for his 10th year in a row, delivered a set featuring mainstream hits like “Nanana” by Peggy Gou and this year’s summer anthem “Move” by Adam Port & Stryv, which made the crowd go wild. DJ Snake’s arrival was a notable highlight, making a grand entrance in the Rimac Nevera, the world’s fastest electric hypercar. His set was a blend of his chart-topping hits and new tracks, and he finished with his collaboration with Justin Bieber, “Let Me Love You.” The closing act of this year’s Ultra Europe was Timmy Trumpet. His energy and live trumpet performances were definitely a crowd favorite.
In a highly anticipated announcement, organizers confirmed that Ultra Europe will return to Split in 2025. The 11th edition of the festival is scheduled for July 11-13, promising to build on the success of this year’s event. Early bird tickets are already on sale, signaling high expectations and excitement for next year.
